Home / Wellness / Materials that do more
Beauty you can see.
Wellness you can feel.
At Serenova Homes, materials are chosen for more than appearance. We consider how flooring, cabinetry, countertops, insulation, paints, lighting, air systems and water systems contribute to the environment you live in every day. The result is a home where luxury and wellness work together.
Wellness built in.
Healthier flooring
Beautiful from the ground up.
Flooring covers more surface area than almost any other finish in your home, which makes its material composition and emissions especially important. Serenova prioritizes naturally low-emitting and independently tested flooring options.
Natural solid hardwood
Warm, timeless and comfortable underfoot. We favor responsibly sourced hardwood combined with carefully selected low-emission finishes and adhesives.
Natural stone
Limestone, marble, travertine and other natural stone surfaces offer exceptional longevity while bringing the texture and character of nature indoors.
Porcelain & ceramic
Ideal for bathrooms, wellness rooms, mudrooms and pool areas. These durable mineral-based surfaces are naturally low-emitting and exceptionally easy to maintain.
Certified engineered flooring
When engineered flooring is used, Serenova can prioritize products carrying recognized indoor-air certifications such as FloorScore®.
Our philosophy is simple: the largest surfaces in your home should be among the cleanest.

The Serenova wellness kitchen
Designed around how you actually live.
The kitchen should encourage healthier routines instead of hiding fresh food behind oversized stainless-steel doors. Serenova reimagines refrigeration with strategically positioned glass-front refrigerated wellness stations incorporated into the kitchen architecture.
Fresh produce, prepared meals, hydration and healthy snacks become visible and easily accessible. Rather than surrounding the entire kitchen with refrigeration, carefully selected sections preserve generous preparation and countertop space.
Standing-height fresh-food displays
Selected refrigerated sections can be positioned approximately at standing reach height, creating a beautiful fresh-food display without constantly bending into conventional under-counter refrigerators.
Fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, cold-pressed juices, yogurt, prepared meals, infused water and healthy snacks — visible, organized, easy to reach.
Hidden traditional refrigeration
Large refrigeration and freezer storage can remain seamlessly integrated behind cabinetry. The difference is that the foods you want your family reaching for every day are placed front and center.
A kitchen designed to make healthier choices easier.
Induction cooking
Performance without compromise.
Serenova kitchens can prioritize induction cooking rather than indoor combustion. Induction technology delivers exceptional temperature control, fast response and an elegant flush cooking surface without creating the combustion pollutants associated with burning natural gas inside the home.
A properly designed exterior-vented range hood is incorporated to help remove cooking particles, moisture and odors.

Cabinetry & countertops
Hundreds of square feet, chosen with care.
Health-conscious cabinetry
Beautiful cabinetry can occupy hundreds of square feet inside a luxury home. Serenova can prioritize cabinetry manufactured with:
- Solid wood where appropriate
- Low-emitting composite wood products
- No-added-formaldehyde or reduced-formaldehyde materials where available
- Low-emission adhesives and finishes
- Durable factory-applied finishes
Mineral-based countertops
Our preference is for durable surfaces that combine luxury with simplicity. Selections may include:
- Natural quartzite
- Granite
- Marble
- Soapstone
- Porcelain slab
- Sintered stone
These materials allow Serenova kitchens and bathrooms to achieve dramatic architectural surfaces while minimizing unnecessary layers of synthetic finishes. Material selections are evaluated individually based on performance, maintenance and intended use.
The Serenova wellness bathroom
A private recovery space.
Available features can include steam shower, oversized walk-in shower, body sprays, filtered shower water, heated natural-stone floors, circadian lighting, integrated aromatherapy, towel warming, sauna connectivity, cold-plunge access, touchless fixtures and smart mirrors.
The goal isn't more technology. It is a better daily ritual.
Private wellness suites
Part of the architecture.
Depending upon the home, Serenova wellness spaces may include an indoor saltwater pool, cold plunge, traditional sauna, infrared sauna, steam room, yoga and meditation studio, fitness studio, massage room, red-light therapy, recovery lounge and outdoor wellness garden.
These spaces are designed as part of the architecture rather than added after the home is built.
Smarter without feeling technical
The smartest home is the one that simply works.
Technology should disappear into the architecture. Serenova can integrate one intuitive home platform controlling lighting, climate, air quality, water monitoring, shades, security, audio, wellness spaces, and pool and spa systems.
Automations can quietly adjust the home throughout the day without requiring constant interaction.
This is a starting point, not the full system — every Serenova home is specified individually, with core systems designed in from day one and select upgrades available for the spaces that matter most to you.
Materials with purpose
This is what we mean by wellness built in.
A Serenova home isn't defined by one sauna, one water filter or one smart thermostat. It is created by hundreds of intentional decisions working together.
Homes designed around how you want to feel.
Not simply around how you live — but around how you want to feel. Every material is thoughtfully sourced and purposefully selected.
